FAIRFAX – Monument Drive North over I-66 in Fairfax will be reduced to a single travel lane during both daytime and overnight hours beginning around 9 a.m. on or about Tuesday, July 18, continuously through 6 a.m. Saturday, July 22, for bridge joint repair and median construction. The right turn lane to access the 66 Express Lanes East will remain open. This work is part of the Transform 66 Outside the Beltway Project.

Drivers traveling on northbound Monument Drive at I-66 during this time should expect delays and consider using alternate routes.  

All work is weather dependent and will be rescheduled if inclement conditions occur.
