FAIRFAX – Overnight closures are planned for Saturday night, Sept. 28, for the ramps from I-66 West to I-495 South (general purpose lanes and Express Lanes) and from the northbound I-495 Express Lanes to I-66 East. Detours will be posted.

Details include:

Saturday, Sept. 28: Ramp from I-66 West to I-495 South

• The ramp from westbound I-66 to southbound I-495 general purpose and Express Lanes will be closed during the overnight hours of Saturday, Sept. 28, between midnight and 5 a.m. for concrete barrier placement. Traffic will be detoured farther west to Nutley Street South, stay to the right for I-66 East, then follow signs to I-495 South.

Saturday, Sept. 28: Ramp from I-495 North Express Lanes to I-66 East

• The ramp from the northbound I-495 Express Lanes to eastbound I-66 will be closed during the overnight hours of Saturday, Sept. 28, between midnight and 5 a.m. for crews to shift lanes on the ramp. Traffic will be detoured to I-66 West to Nutley Street South, stay to the right and follow signs to I-66 East.

All work is weather dependent and will be rescheduled if inclement conditions occur.
